Community Members: how to volunteer & DOnate
Become a mentor . . . volunteer
As a non-profit organization, all Trustees are volunteers from the community. New members are elected to the Board by current members, and are asked to serve for three years. Board members are typically inducted in May. Many Board members elect to remain longer than the minimum tenure, due to the positive impact of the program. Board member responsibilities include; planning Challenge Days, implementing Board agenda, mentoring the students, and limited fundraising. Parents of students are encouraged to participate on Challenge Day committees, alongside Board members, to get a better understanding of the program and the benefits to their student.
